By default, all commissions come with a personal license, meaning the art can’t be used for monetary gain. However, you might want to use the art we make together for merch, a shirt, or even as a cute little emote, on-screen graphic in your stream, or a die-cut sticker!

That’s when you’ll need a commercial license.*

“Wait a sec, Olive! Which One Do I Need?”

After we negotiate the details and sign the final copy, you will receive a written, signed agreement detailing how you can use my art as an asset. You can purchase a commercial license separate from any commission up to 3 years after your commission order date.

*Note that a single purchased license covers ONLY ONE commission, doesn’t grant you exclusive rights to my work, and DOES NOT bypass my Blockchain/GenAI policy.

“Which License Do I Need?”

Good question! It depends on what you want to do with the artwork. If you’ve got one use in mind for the work you purchase, a limited license may be all you need. But if you think you’ll be using the work for a variety of different purposes and don’t want to pay for a new license for every new venture, it’s best to grab a flexible license instead.
