★ Olivia Day/orribu (“The Artist”) reserves the right to refuse his/her services if the requested content violates copyright laws, makes her uncomfortable, or is morally/ethically compromising which includes but is not limited to: violence/gore, hate speech, sexual/drug abuse, etc.
★ Unless the artist and client negotiate the terms of release and the license fee, the Artist’s work CANNOT be used commercially, nor can his/her signature be removed.
★ Unless the above is negotiated, the Artist reserves the right to display the commissioned work in his/her/their portfolio and/or blog, including progress snapshots.
★ About NSFW: images that are not safe for work can be negotiated with an additional 30% of the commission price. The Artist refuses to provide NSFW content to minors under the age of 18, nor will he/she depict minors in this nature. This includes characters that fit the “Older than they look” trope. Outside of minors and the aforementioned characters, mild/tasteful nudity is okay. This will be discussed privately if NSFW content is requested.
★ The Artist will provide an estimated timeline during the initial negotiation. Any requests for updates (including frequency) must be discussed and agreed upon between both parties. The client must allow 1-2 weeks before requesting updates, as the length of completion may vary. If the estimated deadline will not be met, the Artist will communicate 48 hours before the project is due.
★ The Artist will not start work until 25% of the total price is paid. Then, after initial approval, the rest of the payment is due and the Artist will complete and deliver the project as negotiated.
★ Upon shipping of tangibles, the Artist releases his/her liability if the package is not delivered, damaged, etc.
★ Each quote is an estimate and thus subject to change based on the nature of the project.
★ Blockchain Policy: The artist (orribu, “Olivia Day”) absolutely does not create or participate in any blockchain-related technology. If the project is used as such, the artist will respond with appropriate legal action and demand monetary compensation. This would constitute as unauthorized commercial use.
