Let’s take a look at what happened last month, shall we?
🍊TwistedFates VN Game Announced!🍊
Last month, I announced that I’m working on a TwistedFates VN game focused on Luke, the series’ stoic antihero! While I haven’t announced an official release date at the moment, I wanted to have a playable demo released towards the end of October. I don’t have an announcement trailer or anything fancy, though, and with recent developments (more deets below), I’m not sure if I’ll have it ready before then. But I will do my best to keep you posted. Read more about it here!
🍊 StarXCHAOS! Marina Revealed! 🍊
I also (belated) revealed the design for Marina from Splatoon as she’d appear in TwistedFates, not only as a Siren but as an Echo! For those of you who weren’t aware, StarXCHAOS! was a voting event on Patreon where Starcrossers (Patrons) would pitch characters they’d like to see drawn in my style as they’d appear in TwistedFates. I’d then stream while drawing the characters, then post about them on TwistedFates.Net. It didn’t take off the way I’d have liked it to, but with my health the way it has been, it’s no surprise. Still, I may bring it back to some capacity one day, potentially as a simple “Olive stares at this one thing” kind of situation. Learn more about Marina’s crossover story here!
🍊The Deets (My Health)🍊
So, good news!
…and mid news!
My surgery date got moved up. Where it was in early October before, it’s now…mid September. I’ll be losing half or all of my thyroid, which means I’ll be going under the knife for the second time. At my neck. I’m hoping beyond hope I can recover okay, but I didn’t do that well when I had half my jaw removed. It’s…admittedly it’s spooky. I’m crossing my fingers nothing insane happens, but I can’t help but feel scared, yanno? But…! I’m trying to remain as optimistic as I can!
All that being said, I’m afraid there won’t be much I can achieve this month, since I’ll be spending the second half of it prepping for surgery and in recovery.
And again, I must apologize for the lack of content. It hits me every once in a while that I’m way sicker than I thought, and it’s really disheartening. I really hope I can get better so I can share my dreams with you all. T-T <3
